We are here to help
Volunteeringukraine.com
Great information about volunteering in Ukraine, and an interactive map that shows volunteering organizations in different parts of Ukraine.
Uz.gov.ua
Ukrainian railways for booking trains in and out of Ukraine. We recommend downloading the app (link is on their website), which is easier to use. Also, we recommend taking a look at Polrail, which sometimes have more options and fewer limitations for booking certain trains.
Polrail.com
Polish railways, for booking trains in and out of Ukraine. (Can be easier then Ukrainian Railways)
Granica.gov.pl
Wait times for popular border crossings from Poland to Ukraine.
Kordon.customs.gov.ua
Information about border crossings when leaving Ukraine.
Bdr.mvs.gov.ua
Portal for checking traffic fines when you are traveling by car.
Airbnb.com
Airbnb is active in Ukraine and an easy way to find accomodation. Not a bad place to start.
Olx.ua
This is what Ukrainians themselves often use. Less easy to use than Airbnb, you will have to translate the pages yourself to your preferred language, and more suited for longer-term rent, but the rent prices are usually much cheaper.
Lun.ua
Ukrainian website, so you will have to translate the pages. Good for longer-term rentals. Rent prices are usually much cheaper than Airbnb.
Air Alert app (Google play store)
Air Alert app (Iphone app store)
Useful app that alerts users to air raid warnings. For those outside Ukraine, the app provides a real-time and informative window into daily life in Ukraine during the war.
Kyiv Digital app (Google play store)
Kyiv Digital app (Iphone app store)
Air alerts and bomb shelter locations in Kyiv. It's a general city app that can also be used for parking and public transport.
OSINT map
Reported damage (OSINT) map that focuses on attacks in Ukraine. It’s not real-time or comprehensive, but it does show trends. The map can be helpful when deciding where to stay.
Brave.org.ua
Brave to Rebuild is one of our favorite volunteer organizations based in Kyiv and focused on (re)construction projects and mitigating the consequences of missile and drone attacks.
Gurtum.org
Gurtum Charity Foundation, together with their international volunteers, does tremendous work on renovation projects and the construction of bomb shelters for children. While Russia continues to bomb civilians in Ukraine, volunteers from Gurtum are also working in Kyiv to help those affected by the attack

Again, we recommend checking out the interactive map you can find here to see what organizations are active in which region.
